This straight male SMC coaxial connector from our trusted RS PRO range is a sub-miniature radio frequency (RF) connector that's recommended for joining RG174 A/U cables.

Coaxial cables (or coax cables) are great at conveying data, video and voice communications. When paired with the corresponding receptacle, this straight cable mount SMC connector lets you join two small coaxial cables together, creating strong transmission lines.

Like all SMC coaxial connectors, this model has a threaded coupling design. It’s built to be clamped onto cables, which is easily achieved with the help of a clamping tool. The robust gold body plating and contact plating protect against vibration, preventing accidental disconnection and reducing external 'noise' caused by electromagnetic interference.
