RS PRO Black Male FME to Female U.FL RF Coaxial Cable, 50 Ω


This radio frequency (RF) cable from RS PRO is intended to be used as a breakout cable, carrying the signal from a U.FL connector on an internal board to an FME connector mounted on the exterior case. The for mobile equipment (FME) connector is designed as a panel mount connector, meaning that it passes through a hole in the side of the case and is secured with a nut, ensuring that it doesn't move. There is also a built-in gasket with an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP67, providing water- and dust-proofing to the connector.

FME connectors are compatible with frequencies up to 3 GHz, making this cable suitable for wireless LAN at 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and other radio communication protocols. The breakout design allows the stronger FME connector to take any strain from an external cable or antenna, protecting the small U.FL connector on an internal board, making this ideal for use with a board fitted inside a larger case.
