RS PRO Screw Termination Thick Film Panel Mount Resistor, 50 Ω ±10% 2 kW
Need to protect sensitive electrical components? You can add 50 Ω resistance and limit the flow of electricity in your circuit with this RS PRO resistor. Use this component in any application where varying resistance levels occur, such as with control devices and power supplies.
For installation, you have the option to use the screw terminals or heat sink mount the resistor on a flat surface. For best results, make sure the cooling plate is no greater than 0.05 mm thickness overall and the roughness of the surface is less than 6.4 μm (micrometres).
This component is BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 certified, which means you can use it safely in electrostatic protected areas (EPA). It's common in medical and industrial settings, from hospitals to manufacturing plants and power stations.
