LAPP Cable Gland, M25 Thread, 8 to 17mm Cable Diameter - SKINTOP Series - 53111230+53119130

Connect a control cable to your electrical machinery with this LAPP cable gland. It’s easy to push the cable into the connector and then screw it tightly into place with the locknut provided. The cable gland has an IP68 (ingress protection) rating, which means it can withstand total dust exposure and submersion in water up to 1m deep for thirty minutes. The nickel-plating on the surface of the gland prevents corrosion wear, so you can use this unit in damp or humid conditions.

Features & Benefits

• Elastomer O-ring to seal the connection against chemical or oil contaminants
• Broad working temperature range between -20°C and +100°C for use in harsh settings
• High-strength PA (polyamide) insert protects against shock and abrasion damaging the cable connection
• Brass body material encourages current conductivity and resists overheating

Applications

• Medical testing equipment
• Machine manufacturing
• Automotive industry
• Marine systems
• Factory robotics

Is this cable gland suitable for use in applications prone to interference?

Yes, this cable has an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) brush that screens the wire from all sides. This prevents electrical interference from entering the connector space and disrupting data transmission.
