LAPP Cable Gland, PG16 Thread, 9 to 14mm Cable Diameter - SKINTOP Series - 53015240+53019240

If you have a cable that's exposed to strain or vibration, install this universal gland from LAPP to reduce wear and tear. It fits over any cable with a diameter between 9mm and 14mm. Simple and effective, it's quick to secure to panels and machine housing with its screw thread and locking nut. The multi-start, trapezoidal thread is self-locking which means it won't wiggle loose. Once in place, the polyamide gland material provides a robust and corrosion-resistant protective shell to cable entry points.

Features & Benefits

• IP68 (ingress protection) rating means it provides an added layer of protection against dust and powerful water jets
• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C for use in demanding environments
• Seal and O-ring are resistant to UV and ozone for increased lifespan

Applications

• Industrial automation
• Robotic systems
• Assembly lines
• Measurement and control

How do I choose the right cable gland for my setup?

To choose the right cable gland for your needs, start by picking one with a suitably sized connecting thread and cable diameter. Also, check that the gland material is able to withstand the wear and contaminants expected in your working environment.
