The ON Semiconductor MB6S forms part of the MB series of 0.5A bridge rectifiers. It offers very high surge capabilities from a compact SOIC-4 package. With a surge overload rating of 35A (peak), the MB6S is ideal for PCB applications which require absorption of high surge currents. It also supports a 5.0 A²S rating for fusing.
The MB6S is ideal for applications which need extra surge capability. It is designed for general purpose use, such as power supplies.
