SKF Shielded Deep-Groove Ball Bearing, 17mm ID, 40mm OD - 6203-2Z/C3

This deep-groove ball bearing from SKF is a multifunctional component that supports radial and axial loads in both directions. It fits around shafts or similar machine parts in your mechanical and electrical applications and uses rotational friction to turn and move the parts. The bearing has a C3 internal clearance that's larger than normal, enabling the unit to expand to accommodate high temperatures of up to +350°C.

• Metal shields on both sides stop dust from entering the bearing cavity and prevent lubricant leakage for long-lasting performance
• Steel balls and cages are robust and resistant to corrosion for use in a range of demanding environments
• Static load rating of 4.75kN and dynamic load rating of 9.95kN to support heavy loads, whether stationary or moving

Applications

• Medical technology
• Household appliances
• Industrial assembly and production lines

Can you preload deep-groove ball bearings?

You can preload deep-groove ball bearings by adding a sustained axial load that's not dependent on external loads. This can increase the lifespan of the bearing as it reduces vibration and wear.
