3M™ 787C Fibre Disc contains a 3M Precision Shaped Grain (PSG) engineered to offer up to twice the cut-rate surpassing other conventional discs in both performance and longevity. A grinding aid is incorporated to keep the disc cool and further prolonging the disc life. It features a fibre backing and a strong resin bond that improves durability and tear resistance, coupled with the Roloc™ quick attachment system. Designed to maximise cutting effectiveness, minimising grinding pressure and operator fatigue.

Using the 3M™ 787C outperforms conventional ceramic discs. Designed to be used with a 3M™ backing pad with an angle grinder or sander. This fibre wheel is well-suited to edge chamfering, machining grooves, removing steel welds and more.

The unique construction of the 787C is the perfect solution for the most challenging applications. Constructed by a stiff fibre backing and the 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain blend is resin bonded to provide durability and enhanced tear resistance against the toughest applications. The added grinding aid allows for work on heat-sensitive alloys without warping the workpiece.

Using 3M™ precision-shaped grain technology to offer a higher initial and durability to outlast conventional ceramic fibre discs. The grit wears evenly and with the abrasive staying cooler and sharper, the PSG abrasive lasts significantly longer than conventional ceramic discs. The Roloc™ system from 3M™ provides a secure attachment on heavy duty applications. It allows for Roloc discs to be quickly swapped out from one application to another in seconds. The plastic threaded button or screw is designed to easily and quickly screw on a Roloc disc pad (50 mm backing pad - 288-471).
