RS PRO Black/Transparent PET-G 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm, 500 g

If you need a food-safe and water-repelling filament for your 3D printer, choose this RS PRO red 3D printer filament. It's made from polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PET-G), a versatile material that's ideal for catering, pharmaceutical and food packaging applications.

It's safe to use in offices and workspaces as it doesn't produce harmful fumes or unpleasant odours while printing. The PET-G material doesn't contain harmful materials, so it's a good option for medical and catering use. The high melting temperature, low shrinkage rate and extrusion temperature of +220°C to +260°C make this a durable option for your printed objects.

To promote adhesion during printing and to prevent warping as the object cools, you can use this product with a heated bed set between +35°C and +60°C. You can also safely use acetone-based paints or adhesives on objects printed with this filament.
