Partnerships

At RS, our partnerships are key to empowering the next generation of engineers and innovators. By collaborating with Professional Engineering Institutions, universities, young innovators, and social impact organisations, we expand our reach, discover new talent, and foster the skills and responsibility needed in today's industry. Through these strategic alliances, we're committed to shaping a brighter, more sustainable future for all.

Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders

We proudly support Engineers Without Borders, a global movement dedicated to cultivating a new generation of socially responsible engineers. Our partnership covers the UK and USA, where we collaborate on initiatives like the Engineering for People Design Challenge.. Through these programs, we help inspire engineers to influence their companies and peers, driving positive change towards a fairer, greener, and safer world.

TWMP

The Washing Machine Project

The Washing Machine Project has developed an affordable off-grid washing machine that saves time, water and effort. The aim is to improve the lives of women in developing nations by freeing up time for them to do other things – such as education, which can be used to improve the wellbeing and livelihoods of women across the developing world.

IMeCHE

Institution of Mechanical Engineers

We proudly support the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and their flagship student competition, Formula Student – Europe’s most established educational motorsport event. Our partnership helps future engineers turn theory into practice, applying their skills to design, build, and race single-seater cars. By supporting this initiative, we champion hands-on learning, innovation, and teamwork, helping to shape the next generation of engineering talent.

AFBE

Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers

We’re proud to partner with AFBE-UK (Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers) to promote diversity and inclusion in engineering. Together, we support initiatives that empower young people from underrepresented backgrounds, helping them access opportunities, develop skills, and thrive in STEM. Through outreach, mentoring, and community events, we’re working to build a more inclusive and representative engineering workforce.
