BNC Connectors
BNC or Bayonet Neil-Concelman connectors are radio frequency or RF connectors that are used with coaxial cables. With features such as a quick-release bayonet connection, BNC's are a widely used and reliable standard form of connection in RF applications.
What are BNC connectors used for?
While most commonly used for allowing televisions to receive analogue signals from terrestrial antennae, the connector was also used in radio and signal test instrumentation and even in early computing hardware.
