The need to have local drainage becomes a flywheel for French-born inventor to create in 1687 simple, but practical construction, which is the beginning of the new era in Water Pumps.

A Water Pump is a mechanical device that can circulate water or raise it from one level to another. Water Pumps draw existing water into the Pump by suction through an inlet point. The inlet point has a lower rate of pressure than the outlet points. A water pump increases the rate of water to create a vacuum. At this time, the outlet point has a high-pressure level which forces out the water. The impeller plays first fiddle in the entire process as the action of the part increases the fluid's velocity and pressure towards the Pump outlet.

On average, the lifetime of the Centrifugal Pump is approximately 15 years having in mind that internal parts are under regular maintenance. Energy consumption represents about 90% of the total life cycle cost.

What lookout for when using the Centrifugal Pump?

• Avoid overheats as this may damage internal components or cause burns and injuries.


• Read carefully and follow the manual instruction.


• Regular Checks (air leaks) and testing to make sure a safe operation is in place.


• Check for any suction line blockage.


• Always be cautious and use the Pump as intended, e.g. never operate Pumps in explosive or flammable environments, unless the construction of the Pump can perform such service safely.
