The CAE Grouped Profibus-DP protocol uses an RS485 high speed serial link and necessitates an impedance of 150 Ohm. The C-BUS/P cables meet this requirement, and furthermore their double shielding (aluminium tape + braid) ensure total immunity to electromagnetic disturbances.
