The Vishay TVS Diode is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressors diode. They can operate at high temperatures, up to 175 degree Celsius, making them suitable for applications that require high reliability, such as automotive systems. These TVS diodes can protect against voltage transients in both directions. This TVS diode is useful in sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning, especially for automotive load dump protection application.
