The Microchip Capacitive Touch Controller with I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit) interface enables the application to use water-tolerant touch buttons or proximity sensing. The device features 12 capacitive touch sensors with configurable Driven Shield capability. Touch performance parameters can be adjusted via the I2C interface, enabling the configuration operation to suit the intended use case.
