Toggle switches interrupt the flow of current in an electrical circuit, allowing for both ON-OFF functions in opening or closing the circuit. The toggle switch works by removing contact with the terminal: switching OFF and re-connecting the two for ON.

This high-quality toggle switch is a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) ON-NONE-(ON) miniature toggle switch with a water-proof sealant preventing dust from getting inside during soldering. With a PC through-hole mount, the RS PRO miniature toggle switch complies with IP67 standards and has a contact rating up to 3A. This toggle switch has a capability to operate between -40°C and 85°C and an electrical life of 30,000 make-and-break cycles.
