This star-delta time relay from RS PRO reduces a motor's starting current to prevent voltage spikes or inrush current from causing damage. It's ideally suited to starting a three-phase induction motor and can be used with a wide supply voltage range of 24 V AC/DC to 240 V AC/DC.

The unit's run-time and status is quick and easy to see, thanks to its bright LED (light-emitting diode) display. Its extremely compact design requires minimal space – improving packing efficiency on your electrical board. Flush operating knobs don't protrude from the relay, which helps prevent your settings from being accidentally altered.

You can use a relay like this to automatically switch off lights after a pre-determined time. Its enclosure has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP40, so the unit is safe from tools and wires larger than 1 mm.
