CLAxxE 1200 series Single Thyristors
A range of discrete through-hole PCB mounting Thyristors (SCRs) from IXYS. These 1200V high efficiency devices are available in various package styles and current ratings. They are suitable for a multitude of applications including AC and DC motor control, lighting and heating control, and power inverters.
Thyristors - IXYS
A Thyristor is a solid-state semiconductor device with four layers of alternating N and P-type material. They act as bistable switches, conducting when their gate receives a current trigger, and continue to conduct while they are forward biased. Thyristors are synonymous to Silicon-Controlled Rectifier (SCR).
