Honeywell Thermostatic Switch, Open-On-Rise, +90°C Opening Temperature - 2455RP Series - 2455RP 9100-437 L90C

Keep your temperature-dependent equipment protected against high heat with the help of this thermostatic switch from Honeywell. The unit automatically turns on and off in response to temperature changes to eliminate the need for manual operation, saving you time and effort. When the temperature reaches +90°C, the switch opens and cuts power to the circuit. When the temperature drops to +75°C, the switch closes to keep the temperature from dropping any lower. The unit has a wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +186°C, making it a good choice for use in cold and hot environments.

• Copy machines
• Smoke and heat detectors

What's the difference between open-on-rise and close-on-rise thermostatic switches?

Open-on-rise thermostatic switches break an electrical circuit when a certain temperature is reached to prevent further heating. Close-on-rise switches, on the other hand, close the electrical circuit when the temperature rises to a pre-set level.
