Honeywell Bimetallic Thermostat, 250V AC, +125°C Opening Temperature - 2455RP Series - 2455RP 9100-440 L125C

For effective temperature regulation in enclosed spaces, use this bimetallic thermostat switch from Honeywell. Thanks to its open-on-rise design, the contacts will open when the temperature reaches +125°C. When it falls to +110°C, the contacts will close to ensure the temperature doesn't get too low. This unit is made of a robust PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) material that's resistant to heat and corrosion, even in harsh industrial environments. It also comes with a floating steel bracket to ensure easy and secure mounting.

Features & Benefits

• Nominal voltage rating of 250V AC for use in heavy-duty applications
• Broad operating temperature range between 0°C and +186°C for use in demanding environments
• Light weight of 6g to minimise strain on your equipment

Applications

• Fire safety systems
• Hospital equipment
• Heating and cooling units
• Aviation industry

How does a bimetallic thermostat work?

A bimetallic thermostat has two internal metallic strips. One of the strips expands when it detects a rise in temperature. This causes the electrical circuit to break and shuts off the thermostat, allowing the temperature to fall back into acceptable limits.
