Honeywell Bimetallic Thermostatic Switch, Open-On-Rise, +110°C Opening Temperature - 2455R Series - 2455R 9082-463 L110C

Automatically regulate the temperature of your environment with this bimetallic thermostatic switch from Honeywell. This NC switch opens when the temperature reaches +110°C and automatically closes again when the temperature decreases to +95°C. This lets you automatically maintain safe conditions for temperature-dependent machinery to ensure optimal operation. The device's contacts are a blend of silver and nickel, which are highly conductive and corrosion-resistant for a reliable connection.

Features & Benefits

• Phenolic body is resistant to impact and heat
• Stainless steel end cap is resistant to corrosion and wear
• Wide operating temperature range of +0°C to +150°C for use in cold and hot environments

Applications

• HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems
• Automotive industries
• Copy machines
• Heat and smoke detection

What's the difference between open-on-rise and close-on-rise thermostatic switches?

With open-on-rise switches, the thermostat will be activated until it meets the calibrated temperature and the switch opens to break the circuit. With close on-rise switches, the thermostat will be deactivated until the temperature meets your preset level and the switch closes to complete the circuit.
