Jumo Capillary Thermostat, 140 °C Max, Automatic Reset, 16 A, Surface Mount

The Jumo 1 pole mechanical surface mounted thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates according to the fluid expansion principle and can be used up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 60°C without any problems. The capillary of the thermostat is also made of stainless steel and can be laid flexibly, taking into account a bending radius of 5 mm. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the case is -40 to 40 °C in temperature class T6 or max. 70 °C in temperature class T4. When the temperature at the probe cools down below -20 °C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 opens, but closes again automatically when the temperature rises. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit is permanently opened, the switching contact is then in a neutral position. The safety temperature monitor is very flexible and can be used in all explosive atmospheres of ex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
