Jumo Capillary Thermostat, Automatic Reset, Surface Mount

The Jumo 1 pole mechanical surface mounting thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates on the fluid expansion principle and can be used without any problems up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 600°C. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the switch head is 80°. When the temperature at the probe cools down below -20 °C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 opens, but closes again automatically when the temperature rises. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit is permanently opened, the switching contact is then in a neutral position. It is very flexible and can be used in building automation as well as in heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology. Further areas of application are the plastics industry, apparatus and mechanical engineering as well as furnace construction and temperature monitoring in laboratory and climatic chambers.
