RS PRO Type K Thermocouple, 1 m Length, 3 mm Diameter, +1100°C
This RS PRO thermocouple is a temperature sensor that quickly and accurately provides reliable data across a wide range of temperatures. It's a Type K thermocouple with a nickel-chromium wire and a nickel aluminium wire that can sense extreme temperatures from -40°C to +1100°C.
The probes are sheathed in a flexible yet durable 310-grade stainless steel material. This allows you to bend the wires as necessary while providing resistance to corrosion and oxidation for a long service life. To reduce electrical interference, the thermocouple has an insulated junction.
One end of the thermocouple is terminated with a miniature flat pin plug for a quick and easy connection. You'll find this type of thermocouple used in a range of applications requiring extreme temperatures, including brick and cement kilns, heat treatment and annealing furnaces and power stations.
