Phoenix Contact Thermal Circuit Breaker, Single Pole, 65V DC / 250V AC Voltage Rating - TCP 0.5A - 0712152

Need to protect a circuit from excess current? Turn to this thermal breaker from Phoenix Contact. It functions much like a fuse, breaking the circuit in the event of overcurrent to prevent damage, but its integrated switching function means you can quickly reclose it to minimise system downtime. As a slow-blow breaker, it permits a surge overcurrent for a short period before tripping. This makes it a practical choice for protecting equipment against short circuits while allowing for the surge currents used in processes such as motor start-ups.
At just 8.2mm wide, this device will easily plug into screw-type terminal block UK 6-FSI/C (652-3335) and spring-cage terminal block ST 4-FSI/C (648-3170). Its rated at voltages of 250V AC and 65V DC, making it suitable for use with the UK mains power supply. Thanks to a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, you can safely use this breaker in demanding industrial conditions.

• IP40 (ingress protection) rating means it's touch-proof and protected from wires larger than 1mm
• Dielectric strength of 3000V AC (actuation area) ensures it'll function as an effective breaker, even with high overcurrent
