The PR 5335 programmable transmitter provides unrivalled input versatility. Virtually any thermocouple or 2, 3 & 4 RTD plus linear resistance up to 700 Ω and bipolar mV signals. An alert via HART can be used to allow scheduling of maintenance on the faulty sensor.

The HART protocol is a low speed, digital communications scheme that is carried on a 4…20 mA current signal. Since 4…20 mA loops are commonly used in industry, the HART protocol is easy to implement, easy to use, and easy to troubleshoot.
