iButton Temperature Loggers, Maxim Integrated
The Thermocron iButton® temperature and humidity logger has it's own unique 64-bit serial number for tracking and can measure temperature and humidity in any environment, protecting from any external irritants such as dust and moisture. The iButton® can also share communication via 1-Wire® with other sensors to a processor via a single port. The logger enables easy mounting on any object whilst still allowing data to be accessed. Data recorded within the iButton® is contained within a password protected memory section and recorded as defined by the user.
Applications include food preparation and processing, warehouse monitoring, environmental monitoring and humidity/temperature sensitive goods transportation.

The iButton is a computer chip enclosed in a 17mm diameter stainless steel can. Because of this unique and durable container, up-to-date information can travel with a person or object anywhere they go. It can be mounted anywhere because it is rugged enough to withstand harsh environments, indoors or outdoors. It is small and portable enough to attach to a key fob, ring, watch or other personal items. It can be used daily for applications such as access control to buildings and computers, asset management, and various data logging tasks.
