Prevent your circuits from short-circuiting due to high currents with this RS PRO British Standard size 3A fuse. This fuse is bolted so you can attach it easily to a fuse holder. It's gG rated for general use and will normally blow within two to five seconds at five times the rated current, and within 0.1 to 0.2 seconds at ten times the rated current.

The fuse has a current rating of 63 A and a voltage rating of 550 V AC. It features a high rupturing capacity so will withstand the high pressure developed during a short-circuiting situation.

This British standard fuse has been stringently tested by leading engineers to ensure durability and performance. It's also compliant with BS 88 and IEC 60269 specifications for British standard fuses and you can use it in a variety of domestic appliances.
