Eaton Bussmann Series Bolted Tag Fuse - Fast Acting (FF) HRC Power Fuse Range

Eaton Bussmann Series bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with brackets, these brackets allow the fuse to be bolted onto a fuse holder. Predominantly this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage protection measure. Cooper Bussman's fuses are commonly found within a multitude of industrial applications, electrical equipment and wiring systems.

Features & Benefits

• Compact dimensions
• Excellent current limiting features
• High-speed clearance of AC and DC faults
• Featured a melt Point Curve Class IEC 269-4
• Fuse links, specifically designed for the protection of applications
• Conforms to industry standards
• Low voltage fuse

Eaton British Standard Fuse, 16A, 240V AC 16LCT

This very fast-acting fuse from Eaton responds instantly to both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) faults. It prevents short circuits from causing a fire or damaging electrical equipment. The low-voltage protection device is suitable to use with DC drives, power converters and reduced voltage starters. It has a high-rupturing capacity, so is heat-resistant and won't melt nearby wiring or cables if it blows. It doesn't age over its lifespan, so there's very little need to replace or maintain it unless it's blown. A tag on either end of the fuse allows for easy mounting and also makes replacement quick, as you simply unscrew it from its fuse carrier.

• Low power loss for improved efficiency in an electrical system
• Air-tight to reduce the risk of external contaminates affecting its performance
• Requires minimal space with compact dimensions of 47 (L) x 28 (H) x 8.4mm (D)

Can I use this fuse to protect industrial relays from short circuits?

Yes, you can use this type aR fuse to safeguard relays from electrical faults. It's also frequently used for the protection of semiconductors in uninterrupted power supplies, photovoltaic inverters and motor drives.
