Eaton British Standard Fuse, F1 Size, 16A NSD16

Slot this British standard fuse from Eaton into your circuit as a sure-fire way to prevent current overheating dangers, overload wear and short circuits. The offset tags on the cylindrical body clip easily into your fuse holder and the central wire melts away when a current continuously exceeds 16A (amperes). When the wire is broken, the fuse prevents power from running through the circuit. This fuse is for general purpose use in the protection of industrial or commercial wires and cables.

Features & Benefits

• Interrupts currents as high as 80kA (kiloamps) without causing a dangerous electrical arc
• Power loss through is kept to a minimum, averaging 20% lower than British standard requirements
• F1 bladed tag design ensures fuse remains secure in the holder

What does HRC fuse type mean?

HRC (high rupture capacity) fuse type means that the circuit doesn’t break as soon as an overload occurs. The tags have enough thickness to make allowances for current fluctuations and maintain their hold until arcing becomes sustained. This helps to prevent unnecessary circuit interruptions.
