The Yageo RT series of 0603-size, thin film resistors are constructed on top of a high-grade ceramic body. Internal metal electrodes are added at each end and connected by a resistive layer. The resistive layer is adjusted to give the approximate required resistance and laser cutting of this resistive layer that achieves tolerance trims the value. The resistive layer is covered with a protective coat and finally, the two external terminations (matte tin) are added. It is a high sensitivity and high precision, 1 megaohm resistor with ±0.1% tolerance rated for 0.1 W of power.
