RS PRO 10 bar Iron Float and Thermostatic Steam Trap, 1/2 in BSP Female

This RS PRO float and thermostatic steam trap uses a temperature sensing element to trigger the discharge of the condensate you need to release from your steam system. It's suitable for all types of low, medium and high-pressure steam heating applications like unit heaters, heat exchangers and driers.
The product has a spheroidal graphite (SG) iron body and stainless-steel internals to ensure strength and resistance to impact and high temperatures. It's designed to withstand sudden load and pressure changes so you can be sure it's safe to use in your application. It also features a thermostatic air vent, allowing for excellent air discharge.
The trap has female threaded connections conforming to BSP (British Standard Pipe) requirements specifying technical standards for screw threads for sealing pipes and fittings. It has a Pressure Nominale (PN) rating of PN16 which means you can safely use it in systems with a pressure of up to 16 bar.
