Types of Staplers****Desktop

This is most recognisable style stapler. Usually placed on a work surface or tablestop and the operator feeds paper into it to the stapled.

Handheld

A hand held stapler is most often feature a soft grip handle for comfortable use. One of the most common types of manual staplers.

Heavy Duty

Heavy duty staplers are frequently used for industrial applications. It can typically staple through 100+ sheets at a time. They also tend to be combine stapling pliers and guns.

Long Reach

This stapler is designed for those hard to reach places that standard desktop staplers just can't get to. It features an extra long throat that's perfect for large binding projects.

How many sheets of paper can a stapler staple?

The number of sheets of paper can be dependant on the type of stapler.

Standard staplers will staple together between 20 to 50 sheets of 8-gsm paper at once. Mini staplers have the capacity of around 10 to 30 sheets of 80gsm paper.

Heavy duty staplers are able to staple between 100 to 250 sheets of standard printer paper together and is capable of stapling thicker material such as cardboard.
