This threaded standoff is a convenient way to securely lock PCBs (printed circuit boards) into place. The standoff acts as an insulating guard between components to prevent electrical shorts.

A hexagonal outer shape means it can be fastened easily using a standard spanner. The 10 mm long standoff is available in female-female configuration with M3 threading on both sides. Nylon 6 construction ensures good resistance to most solvents and dilute mineral acids commonly used in chemical cleaning products. It's also flame retardant.
