A hard-wearing cotter pin (or split pin) designed to be inserted into a 1.6mm diameter hole creating a secure and easily removable connection, without the need of any specialist tools.;Manufactured from a half round strip of high quality Carbon Steel turned back on itself to form a split-circular section. The split pin is finished with an attractive Bright Zinc Plating (BZP) for excellent wear resistance and corrosion protection, making them well suited to indoor and outdoor use. ;Featuring a leg length of 25.4mm the split cotter pins are suitable for a hole diameter of 1.6mm and meet British Standard BS1574.
