Facom’s Safety Lock System (SLS) range prioritises working safely at height by introducing the SLS head attachment that prevents any accidental falls. Every year, falling tools cause thousands of accidents that have an impact on health and productivity.

Facom’s innovative ring design system for the SLS range of tools was tested and chosen with the aim of guaranteeing indestructible solidity – a security tool must not fail. It has been designed so that the steel cable is embedded in the metal to ensure a powerful bond and even in the extreme situation of breakage, it will be the cable that breaks before the bond. Each individual tool has a traction test performed on it once the ring assembly is completed with an inspection certificate issued upon completion. A unique serial number is also engraved on the tool once the inspection has been completed, allowing Facom to ensure traceability of the tool’s production and guarantee the safety it promises.
