RS PRO RM1D Solid State Relay

RS PRO is proud to introduce this superb RM1D series, solid-state DC switching relay. Upon inspection, the RM1D is controlled by a DC voltage, offers power connection and control connection points via screws with captive washers & integrated over-voltage protection.

The RM1D series is designed for panel mounting or for mounting on a heatsink. The switching of the RM1D is controlled by 4 V to 32 V dc and there’s an LED that indicates a control voltage presence on the SSR.

Structure

  • 1+ Power connection, Load connection, or positive supply connection

  • 2- Power connection, Load connection, or ground supply connection

  • 3/A1+ Control connection, Control supply signal

  • 4/A2- Control connection, Ground connection for control

Features and Benefits

  • DC Panel Mount SSR

  • 60VDC 100 A

  • 4 to 32 VDC Control Voltage, with LED indication

  • High switching frequency 1000Hz

  • Clip-on IP20 Terminal Cover

  • Self-lifting terminals

  • Isolation input / output 3750 V rms

  • Operational voltage: 1 VDC - 60 VDC

  • Leakage current @ rated voltage: 0.1 mA DC

  • Pickup Voltage: 4 V

  • Drop-out voltage: 1.2V

  • Response Pickup: <100 Us

  • Operating Temp: -20°C to 80°C

Why would you choose this solid-state relay?

  • Offers 3750 Vrms isolation between input and output

  • Ideal solution when switching response times, from ON to OFF and vice versa, are critical to the application

  • Fully solid-state to ensure trouble-free operation over a high number of switching cycles

What are the main advantages?

  • No moving parts to wear out

  • SSRs switch both "ON" and "OFF" much faster

  • Resistant to vibration and shock

  • Immune to harsh environments

  • Millions of switching actions without breakdown

  • Silent operation

Applications

  • DC heaters

  • Solenoid valves

  • Test equipment

  • Connection and disconnection of battery sources
