The device uses a 24V DC input to open or close a connected circuit with a rating of 3 to 48V DC. The unit accepts conductors ranging in size from 26 to 14AWG, so it adapts well to a wide range of electrical setups. With a high test voltage of 2.5kV, it happily holds up against electrical surges.
