Metcal PTC Tweezer Solder Tips / Soldering Tips / Tweezer Tip Cartridges.
PTC-tweezer-tip cartridges are the standard tweezer-tip range for the Metcal CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 series soldering systems.
All cartridges are available in 3 temperature ranges.
The temperature/series is designated by the by the first digit in the numerical part of the part number:
Metcal recommends the 700-series for many general applications.
800/900-series for high temperature and thermally demanding applications.
Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal “SmartHeat®-Technology“ will adjust delivered power during soldering to suit the application.
PTC series will remove chips and SOIC-components.
Suitable for:
CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500, MX-5000, MX-5200, precision tweezer CV-H4-PTZ, MX-PTZ, tweezer-kit CV-UK4, MX-UK4.
