Metcal CVC Soldering Tips / Solder Tip Cartridges.
CVC-, SMC- solder tip cartridges are the standard soldering tip range for the Metcal CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500, MX-5200 and MX-5200 series soldering systems.
All cartridges are available in 4 temperature ranges.
The temperature/series is designated by the by the first digit in the numerical part of the part number.
Metcal recommends the 700-series for the majority of applications.
600-series for light load or low temperature applications.
800/900-series for high temperature and thermally demanding applications.
Can be used with leaded and lead-free solder. The Metcal “SmartHeat®-Technology“ will adjust delivered power during soldering to suit the application.
Suitable for Use With:
CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500, MX-5000, MX-5200, solder iron MX-H1-AV, MX-RM3E, MX-H7-SF, solder-Kit MX-UK1, CV-H1-AV, CV-H7-AV.
