RS PRO 1 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
Need a thin wire solder that's safe to use on electronic and electrical devices? This RS PRO solder creates bonds between components or parts made from metals such as oxidised copper, brass and nickel.
The product's quick-wetting action allows the melted alloy to bond to the surface, creating an effective joint. This solder is an alloy of tin and lead that provides a good spread to ensure your bonds have fewer faults and don't flake or come loose. The rosin flux core prevents the soldered joints from rusting so you won't need to waste extra flux to remove the residue that causes it.
This wire solder complies with IPC-J-STD-004B standards, meaning it's passed quality control specifications and you can safely use it for electronic and electrical assemblies. This product is handy for use with printed circuit boards (PCBs), household appliances and other electronic devices.
