RS PRO 0.7 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
This RS PRO wire-type solder is suitable for fusing electronic parts and components. You can use it on surfaces and connections made from metals like brass, oxidised copper, nickel and beryllium copper.
The solder's low melting point ensures a rapid wetting action, giving you an excellent flow and spread for precision applications. The product's lead and tin alloy cools well, meaning your bond will have fewer internal flaws and won't flake or detach from the surface of the components you're soldering. The rosin flux core counters oxidation so it prevents the solder from rusting.
This product has passed quality control testing and complies with IPC-J-STD-004B standards, meaning you can use it for high-quality solder interconnections. It's mainly used for soldering parts in household appliances, toys and electrical assemblies.
