RS PRO 0.5 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
Looking for a solder to fuse delicate parts and components together? This RS PRO thin wire is suitable for challenging connections made from brass, nickel and oxidised and beryllium copper.
The combination of lead and tin establishes quick solder wetting action that flows, spreads and cools effectively, ensuring fewer internal flaws. You won't need any additional flux as the rosin flux core removes oxides and other impurities from the surfaces and components you wish to solder.
This product complies with IPC-J-STD-004B specifications which means it passes flux testing for solder interconnections. You can use this solder for household appliances like fridges, power supplies and selected heavier electrical assemblies.
