RS PRO 1 mm Lead Solder, +183°C Melting Point
This RS PRO solder wire is made from a lead-rosin mixture and joins electronic parts together. The wire melt runs from one end while the main body holds its shape, keeping a steady run-off with minimal excess for more accurate soldering.
The wires rosin-based flux core stops corrosion in the solder joint, helping you avoid challenging repairs around sensitive electrical components. Having the flux built into the product also saves you the additional step of applying it separately as you work.
The 1 mm wire diameter is a thick, stable size which makes it suitable for soldering most household wiring and devices. It's an appropriate choice for surfaces and parts made from nickel, brass and oxidised and beryllium copper.
