FLUKE Solar Power Meter, Integrated Compass,1400 W/m² Maximum Light Level - FLK-IRR1-SOL

Need to work out the best position for a photovoltaic system? This solar power meter from FLUKE helps you find your place in the sun. It gives you all the data you need for installing, testing, maintaining and reporting on a photovoltaic array. You can use it to work out the irradiance and shade at a prospective location for a baseline solar resource level before a system is even in place. Once the panels are up and running, this handy piece of kit lets you compare predictions against actual readings so you can monitor performance. An integrated thermometer offers temperature readings between -30°C and +100°C for precise analysis.

Features & Benefits

• Inclination measurement feature lets you establish tilt to determine the best orientation
• Built-in compass means it's simple to find the cardinal direction, for a full picture of site conditions
• High-contrast LCD screen makes results easy to read, even in direct sunlight

Applications

• Roof-mounted panels
• Large photovoltaic installations

How is this device powered?

This meter is powered by four AA alkaline batteries, which typically have a life of 50 hours or over 9,000 readings.
