RS PRO D-Shackle, Steel
These shackles from RS PRO provide a convenient and simple way to join a load-lifting device to its load. As a screw pin shackle, it can be secured by fitting the pin and screwing it into position. If required, extra tightening torque can be provided by turning a rod passed through the hole in the pin. These small shackles allow ropes up to 10 mm across to be held inside the jaw and the pin requires a 5 mm hole on the load to allow a direct attachment.
Small shackles can be used anywhere that small loads need to be secured, whether for lifting or tied down, typically in the transport industry. The small size means they can be attached to compact tie-down points and won't get in the way. The zinc-plated steel construction provides strength whilst also being resistant to corrosion.
