MOXA Device Server, 4 Ports, 12V Nominal Supply Voltage - NPort 5410 w/ adapter

This device server provides serial-to-Ethernet connectivity for industrial and medical environments, enabling multiple serial devices to be accessed over a network. It converts four serial ports to 10/100 Base-Tx Ethernet, allowing legacy equipment to communicate via TCP/IP while operating within typical indoor temperature ranges and with a 12V supply.

Features and Benefits:

• Four serial ports enabling simultaneous device access
• 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet for standard network integration
• 921.6kbps serial throughput for high-speed data transfer
• Operates from a 12V supply for simple system power design
• Rated to run up to 55°C for elevated ambient operation
• Supports multiple Windows releases for host compatibility

Applications

• Suitable for factory automation linking PLCs to IT networks
• Ideal for connecting laboratory instruments to servers
• Used for medical equipment networking where EMC matters
• Can be used for building management system serial integration

Which operating systems are supported for host-side software?

It is compatible with a wide range of Windows releases including Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, ME, 98 and 95 for legacy and current deployments.

What electromagnetic immunity standards does it meet for noisy sites?

The unit complies with multiple IEC 61000-series tests covering immunity to electrostatic discharge, radiated and conducted disturbances, fast transients, surge and magnetic field immunity.

Is it certified for product safety and industrial emissions?

It carries UL 60950-1 safety recognition and meets emission and immunity standards such as EN 55032/24, EN 55011 and FCC Part 15B Class B.

How is environmental operating range specified for deployment planning?

The specified ambient range spans from 0°C minimum to 55°C maximum for normal operation.
