Sick YG2A15-100VB5XLEAX Series Sensor Actuator Cable, 10m Cable Length, Grey Jacket - YG2A15-100VB5XLEAX

This sensor actuator cable provides a reliable connection between M12 equipment and field wiring for industrial automation. It features an angled M12 5-pin female connector at one end and flying leads at the other, supplied with a Durable grey PVC jacket and designed for use in chemically exposed zones and harsh environments requiring IP65/IP66K/IP67 protection.

Features & Benefits

• 10m length simplifies placement and reduces junctions
• PVC jacket resists oils and general industrial contaminants
• 5 contacts support standard sensor and actuator signals
• Rated for up to 125V to accommodate common control circuits
• Unshielded construction reduces weight and improves flexibility
• Operating temperature range supports wide installation conditions

Applications

• Suitable for linking proximity sensors to controllers in conveyor systems
• Ideal for connecting actuators on factory automation cells
• used with discrete I/O modules in assembly line equipment
• Can be used for sensor wiring in environments with chemical exposure
• Suitable for installations requiring an M12 female to unterminated connection

What mechanical connection is provided at the cable head?

The head is an angled M12 female connector with A-coding and screw-type locking requiring 0.6 Nm tightening torque.

How flexible is the cable for routing in confined spaces?

The cable has a diameter of 5.2mm and allows bending radii greater than 10 x diameter when flexing and greater than 5 x diameter when stationary.

What current and impulse voltage can the cable handle?

The conductor cross-section is 0.34mm² with a current rating of 4A and a rated impulse voltage of 1.5 kV.

Which temperature conditions are acceptable for continuous operation?

For flexible use the range is −5 °C to +80 °C

for stationary installation it is −30 °C to +80 °C, and the connector head is rated to −25 °C to +85 °C.

What construction details affect installation practice?

The connector housing uses thermoplastic polyurethane, a nickel-plated zinc locking nut and an FKM seal, and the cable is unshielded with individual flying leads for direct termination.
