What Is A Screwdriver?

A screwdriver is a tool that can be used manually or powered by a machine to screw (insert) or unscrew (remove) a screw. The average screwdriver will consist of an ergonomically designed handle and a shaft with a particular drive type designed to slot into a certain screw before turning of the handle takes place. A screwdriver is classified by its tip, which is specifically designed to fit into a driving surface such as slot and groove

Care Advice

Acquiring a good quality tool kit can be an investment, if you take good care of them they’ll give you a good return. We recommend that you keep your screwdrivers in the zipped wallet/tray that it is supplied with when not in use, ensure that they are clean and dry when putting away. If you have a silica gel pack to hand, it would be useful to put this in the zipped wallet with the tools to prevent rust from occurring.

Note

All of our screwdrivers have been tried, tested and approved by leading engineers
