Need a reliable way to measure temperatures? Use this RS PRO RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensor. It works by transmitting electrical current through the sensor and determining the temperature based on the level of resistance, a method that offers a high level of accuracy and repeatability.
This RTD sensor can measure temperatures between -50°C and +450°C, so it's suitable for applications involving extreme heat or cold. The terminal head is fitted with a transmitter to allow readings at a variety of ranges, giving you freedom of movement when operating the sensor. The head is made from an aluminium alloy for resistance to corrosion and weathering, making it safe for use in outdoor spaces.
The sensor is made of 316-grade stainless steel, which has an excellent level of durability and resistance to corrosion. This makes it a good choice for measuring the temperature of a wide range of gases and liquids.
